SHANGHAI, CHINA – Shanghai Husi Food Company, owned by American-based food supplier, OSI in China, shut down after they were caught mixing fresh meat with expired meat.

The company is also accused of picking up meat that had fallen on the floor and selling it. Some of that chicken and beef may have reached McDonald’s and KFC in China.

No word if any of the meat made its way to the U.S., but ‘Yum Brands,’ the company that owns KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco bell doesn’t have an appetite for matters like this. They apologized for the meat mishap and say they’ll look into the matter.
