Here’s one to file under weird court cases. A Michigan woman is accused of shooting her lover for being bad in the bedroom.

58-year-old Sadie Bell admitted to Southfield, Michigan police that she shot her lover of 15 years in the stomach after being unsatisfied with his sexual performance.

According to Chief Assistant Prosecutor Paul Walton:

“She was upset with him after a sexual act that she felt he wasn’t performing adequately and accused him of then having an affair, and then took out a gun and shot him.”

“She liked sex, she expected him to be able to do what he’s promised; and she said, in essence, to quote her, she was p*ssed off, so she shot him.”

Her lover suffered wounds to his colon and pancreas, and nearly died.

In April, Bell, who allegedly also shot her husband back in 1991, was convicted of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, a felony gun charge, and was sentenced to four years in prison.

The court, however, granted her a motion, filed by her attorney, to get her out on bond pending appeal.

Listen, no one ever wants to be the “victim” of bad sex. But just because he pulled his trigger a little too early, doesn’t give you the right to pull yours. Also, you do have to wonder how this case would be received if the roles were reversed. At the end of the day it’s still violence over sex, and that should never be tolerated.

In the meantime everyone take a long, hard look at Sadie. This is one woman you aim to please, or else…

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
