Feral chickens overrun Phoenix neighborhood

PHOENIX, AZ –  People in a  Phoenix neighborhood are saying “What the pluck?” after being overrun by rogue roosters. City officials say there’s not much they can do about the dozens of feral chickens roaming through the streets.

Animal care and control say the fowl fall out of their responsibilities, and officials from the city say if there was a rightful owner, they could fine them for not following city code.

But, since, these are free birds so they technically have free range.

Forget a neighborhood coup, it’s more like a neighborhood coop.
