BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA – Two women were nearly hit by a train on a bridge over Lake Lemon, Indiana, and it was all caught on camera.

The 80 foot high bridge is too high up to jump from and there are no walkways, since no one is supposed to walk up there.

So the female trespassers had no choice but to lie down between the tracks.

“The engineer threw the train into emergency braking as soon as possible. He had thought he had killed the two people here on this bridge,” according to Eric Powell with the railroad.

They survived with just nine inches separating them from the train.

Indiana Railroad says the women have been identified and will be prosecuted for criminal trespass.
