Midtown parking garage flooded, at least 100 cars submerged

HOUSTON – If you were out and about last night, you probably found yourself in high water — literally.

As heavy rain swept through Southeast Texas, there was a whole lot of flooding in Houston.

It was a mess, especially in the downtown and midtown areas.

At The Calais complex along Louisiana, in Midtown, at least 100 cars were flooded on the first floor of the parking garage.

Good news is: the sun is shining now.

But it looks like the next thing that’s getting flooded — all the car dealerships in town.
