Houston beauty supply stores being targeted?

HOUSTON, TX  – Seems like there’s a hairy situation going on in Houston.

Wednesday morning August 6, thieves broke into the Sense Beauty Supply on Veterans Memorial Drive.

They made off with nearly $8,000 worth of merchandise, including hair weaves.

Doesn’t seem like much, but considering how much hair weaves cost, it’s a big loss for the store.

The burglary, also, has store workers on edge because this isn’t the first time a beauty supply store has been burglarized.

Thieves also stole weaves from KY Fashions on West Mount Houston on August 2, and the same thing happened on July 30  at Beauty Sensations on Beechnut, right by the Beltway.

Houston police think the cases are related, but they’re still combing out all the details.
