Actress Olivia Wilde bares her breast in September’s issue of Glamour magazine. But it’s not what you think.

Inside the magazine, the cover girl is pictured in a diner, wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada Shoes, while nursing her naked son, Otis. Wilde, who gave birth to her and fiance, Jason Sudeikis’ baby in April, couldn’t be more happy with the photo.

“Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that.”

“Breastfeeding is the most natural thing. I don’t know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast.”

Wilde, 30, also says the photo captures what it looks like to be a “multifaceted woman.”

“[But] I mean, I certainly don’t really look like that when I’m [typically] breast-feeding. And there’s usually a diaper involved.”

Glad she cleared that up.

This is just one of many pics where stars show themselves breastfeeding.

Gisele Bundchen, Jaime King, Gwen Stefani, and Miranda Kerr are among the celebrity moms who have posted nursing pics recently.

For the most part people have been supportive of Wilde’s picture, which coincidentally was released during World Breastfeeding Week.

I mean what’s not to love. A beautiful new mom, in a beautiful dress, nursing her beautiful baby, with her beautiful breast!

Some are still a little weary though of the other message it’s sending, nursing in public. A debate that will never go away.

I think nursing your child is a personal choice. And so is whether or not you choose to do it in public. Just remember though the majority of moms aren’t going to look like this. As hard as they try Stars Are NOT Just Like Us.

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
