Houston postal workers lead nation in dog bites

HOUSTON, TX - Just when you though it was safe to deliver the mail. Well, it's not if your mail route happens to be in Houston. The Bayou City is the top dog once again when it comes to dog-on-mailman violence in the nation.

So, the hard working staff of the United States Post Office is ready to bite back. Sinking their teeth into a new strategy to stop the pooches all together.

Postmen and women are attending a dog bite prevention class, learning steps to curb the unspeakable horror. They hope taking these steps will help take Houston’s name off the top of the dog-bite list.
