Truck driver saves family from crash

GULFPORT, MS - A woman and her one-year-old granddaughter are alive thanks to David Fredericksen, a brave truck driver, that came to their rescue after a fiery crash on a Mississippi interstate.

Fredericksen was en route when he saw a Lincoln Towncar carrying a woman and her one-year-old granddaughter T-bone an 18-wheeler after attempting to merge.

Instead of driving around the fiery crash, Frederickson jumped out of his truck with a fire extinguisher in tow and walked without hesitation towards the raging fire.

He proceeded to extinguish the blaze and pull out the baby and her grandmother from the wreckage.

Thanks to this real-life hero everyone survived.
