The Star-Spangled Banner turns 200 years old

HOUSTON, TX - The prelude to most of America’s favorite past-times, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” turns 200 this year.

President Obama visited the original manuscript of our national anthem in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday.

While countless celebs have had the chance to belt out the first of four verses of this timeless treasure, we thought we`d give some Texans a chance to sing out a verse.

Our hats are off to all that honor this tale of a victory over the British. As for turning 200, we don`t think the song looks a day over 175.
