HOUSTON, TX - Guess it's true what they say, "When it rains, it pours." and that saying is especially true in Houston. Well, it's not called the Bayou City for nothing folk! There's water everywhere as is, and when extra water starts coming down in buckets, the best a driver can do is drive defensively.

Still, some motorist need to get to where they're going, even when things outside turn bad. Weather conditions might have played a part in a chain-reaction of car crashes on Westheimer Parkway near George Bush Park. Five cars in total. One of the drivers got trapped and had to be extracted by Houston Firefighters and Precinct 5 Deputy Constables. Three other drivers were also taking to area hospitals. The fifth driver was not hurt and stayed on scene with officials. None of the cars had any passengers.

And with rain still in the forecast the next couple of days, let's hope things aren't as wet and wild as they were today.
