LOS ANGELES, Ca. -- All you beer lovers, listen up!

Good old PBR, Pabst Blue Ribbon,... has been an American beer for a patriotic palette until now.

The iconic brew in red, white and blue now belongs to Russia!?!

No joke, Russian company Oasis Beverages is the new owner of Pabst Brewing Company, whose headquarters are in Los Angeles.

Pabst isn't just known for its PBR.  It's also tied to one of the most notable beers that makes all Texans cheer... Lonestar!
That's right, Pabst owns the Lonestar beer name--- which is only the offical beer of Texas!
Oh, and it's also the same company that's brought you other well-known beers like Old Milwaukee, Schlitz, and Colt 45.

Weird to drink and think about.

The silver lining in all of this is that your taste buds can take a chill pill since Oasis has no plans to change the taste of any of the Pabts brewed beers, and hey,  we'll say cheers to that!
