TOKYO, Japan -- Robots can be incredibly useful.  They can build things, bring you things, and kick your balls!

What the world really needs, however, is a robot that can cheer.

Japanese engineers have come up with the answer to all our prayers.

The cheerleading robots, which will be on display at a trade show in Tokyo next month, balance on balls as they roll around in time to music--just like real cheerleaders!

They also rely on ultrasonic and infrared rays to avoid collisions--unlike real cheerleaders!

Their moves will have you mesmerized and staring like a perv in no time!

Look, but don't touch, guys.

Japan has other robots for that.
