HOUSTON, Tx. -- Joel Osteen launched his Sirius radio station on Monday. It started with a town hall event taped in New York.

The network will play Lakewood's services live, and he and his wife will host a couple of live shows too.

“Our whole message is about lifting people’s spirits. I feel like there's a lot in life pushing people down, that's why our services are very uplifting,” says Osteen.

The station puts Osteen in the same company as Oprah and Howard Stern since they are the only others to have their own networks.

“It's a part of our message that God can take you places you have never dreamed,” he says.
