Houston, Tx - The Harris Health System celebrates the women who have fought and beat Breast Cancer.

"Last year I came for the first time as a spur of the moment invitation from one of my co-workers. After listening to all the women`s stories, I decided to schedule a mammogram the very next week. I found out that I had triple negative breast cancer the week after that and I started my road to treatment and recovery." shared Diane Poirot

Charlayne Collins said, "My family and my faith are what got me through it. It`s not the end, it`s the beginning."

"This is my second year being a survivor of breast cancer. Thanks God, I`m still alive." proclaimed Christina Tabernilla

Patients who were treated in Harris Health`s Ben Taub Hospital, LBJ Hospital and Smith Clinic took part in this reunion.

"They have these incredible stories that they share with other women about their cancer journey and about their survivor-ship." explained Laura Pena of Harris Health System

A great way to start off Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
