NEW HAVEN, CT - A man in Connecticut isn't exactly your model citizen. Police say Gary Harding stole a woman's Honda CRV at a store parking lot. Thanks to surveillance video, though, they were able to identity Gary as their main suspect.

Turns out, Gary was on probation, so officers already had a lot of information on him. So they came up with a little plan to get him. Gary's probation officer called him and told him he wanted to meet up for their usual meeting. Gary took the bait, and when he showed up, he actually had the audacity to show up in the stolen SUV.

He was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny. That's how he became our Dumbass of the Day!
