ORLANDO, Florida -- Talk about a hairy situation.

Cops in Orlando pepper sprayed a crowd of women after things apparently got violent at a weave giveaway.

The beauty supply store was handing out free hair extensions to the first 50 customers for its grand opening, so dozens of women flocked their way to the store, allegedly pushing and shoving to get to the freebies.

Now, why all the commotion over hair? Apparently the extensions cost anywhere between $55 and $100 bucks.

Regardless, some folks say police took things a little too far.
