HOLIDAY, Florida – A quiet Florida neighborhood was shaken after what appears to be a sinkhole opened in the ground and swallowed a car on Monday.

"We had five minutes to move the car, the golf cart, grab the dogs, and get clothes and get out of here," says neighbor Caroline Bowser.

The owner of the sunken car, and others on the street, were forced to evacuate their homes. Thus far, authorities are not officially labeling the incident "a sinkhole."  Engineers will make the final call on what exactly happened.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
