MAYVILLE, WI - It is the time of year when kids around the country line up to meet Santa. But two young boys in Wisconsin couldn't wait to give him their gift list at the mall. They tried to call Santa directly by dialing 911.

When the police showed up to the boys' home in Mayville, Wisconsin, neither of the kids wanted to own up to the call. The police left them with a reprimand and gave the boys a tour of the police station.

Meanwhile, a family in Florida got a pleasant surprise from police after their three-year-old dialed 911 and hung up. Officers came out to the Boynton Beach house only to discover that the family did not have enough money for a Christmas tree this year. So they pitched in and delivered one themselves.
