Long Island postal workers arrested for stealing packages of marijuana

LONG ISLAND, New York - Eight U.S. postal workers in Long Island were busted after cops say they stole packages of marijuana - 263 packages to be exact.

According to authorities, employees stole the packages, placed new labels on them, and shipped them to other places so they could be sold.

The feds say they confiscated 129 pounds of marijuana, which had a street value worth up to $930,000.

The workers were arrested and charged with theft of mail, conspiracy to distribute, and possession with the intent to distribute.
