HOUSTON, Texas - The Rockettes are ready to take center stage in Houston. The famous dancers are bringing the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" to The Hobby Center for The Performing Arts from December 5-28.

With their precision dancing on show, the performances will be extra special for one Rockette, Alissa LaVergne.

"The show is coming here, to my hometown. This is where I grew up and live everyday, so it's really exciting to be here. I've been doing this for a couple of years, but to be here in Houston to do it, is literally my dream come true. I've always wanted to be a rockette and I've always had that, but to be able to be home for the holidays and share this with my friends and family is the icing on the cake," LaVergne said.

Being home can come with some confusion though.

"Actually when I say I'm a Rockette here in Houston, they think I'm a Rocket Dancer for the Houston Rockets. But people always get really excited. They ask, you know, show me some kicks, that's the first thing they always ask."

The Rockettes will make 47 performances while in Houston. For more information, visit here.
