VICTORIA, TX -- It's the shocking video that's got people talking, showing  Victoria Police Department Officer Nathanial Robinson, 23, tasing Pete Vasquez, 76, twice over an inspection sticker. The video made national headlines.

Officer Robinson has been suspended and an in-depth investigation was launched.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Victoria Police Chief, J.J. Craig, said, "I decided at this time to open an Internal Affairs administrative investigation in an effort to collect all the facts. Officer Robinson has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation."

The Texas Rangers will also conduct a criminal investigation.

Mr. Vasquez's Attorney, Rachel Messer,  said, "He's recovering in the company of his family. He has some follow-up, again, to deal with the emotional humiliation and issues that he's having there, but I believe in the transparency of this department that a lot of those questions will be answered, and we do hope for a follow-up with criminal prosecution."
