Valet takes tip from “Ferris Buller’s Day Off”

COSTA MESA, California - Working as a valet can be pretty mundane. Your repetitious craft basically requires you to drive, park and repeat.

So, if a brand spanking new, 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray that costs nearly $70,000 pulled up, would you drive it with care or put the pedal to the metal?

The valet at the Sergerstorm Center for the Arts, in Costa Mesa, California didn't go full throttle, but he did give it just enough gas to see what that baby had under the hood.

Unfortunately, fancy cars come with fancy accessories. This one, in particular, comes with a "Valet Mode" that records what happens when the owner isn't in the driver's seat.

It didn't take long for the valet's short-lived, fast and furious lifestyle to come to light, and his career got a swift shift to reverse, as he was fired.
