HOUSTON, Texas - With a flash flood warning issued for Harris County, Brazoria County and Galveston County on Thursday afternoon, it was a day better spent indoors.

The flood warnings were the latest Houston's turbulent week of weather. The past few days, Houstonians have experienced cold, sun, fog and showers.

"I think it's great for the environment and the yards," said Paul Equale.  "It's not very good for my children and their activities."

On the bright side, Saturday is forecast to be sunny.

"I'm excited for that," an enthused Equale said.  "I hope the weather guys are right."

The National Weather Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of rain on Friday with highs not even expected to reach fifty.
