Scandals need to be left at the gate

Simon says more and more scandals are referred to as some sort of "-gate," but that seems to water down the original "Watergate" scandal.

Simon says those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it, and it looks like there's a lot of repitition going on. Feels like it is time to navigate to what's really going on.
