NEW YORK CITY, New York. - New York fashion photographer Andre Perry was arrested after police mistook his fashion accessory for a deadly weapon. The 32-year-old was in the subway when a plainclothes officer stopped him at the Union Square Station because of his two-finger ring.

According to Perry, the officer told him his ring was a weapon and that's when he decided to pull out his cell phone and record the rest of his confrontation. After the exchange with the cop, Perry was arrested and booked for wearing brass knuckles, a deadly weapon.

Seems a bit extreme, especially in a fashion mecca like the Big Apple. Perry had to spend the night in jail and was released the next day without bail.
