WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The maker of the female equivalent of the little blue pill is hoping to get approval from the FDA. Sprout Pharmaceuticals has been rejected twice by health regulators, but are hoping that the third time will be the charm.

The FDA has denied the pill previously because of safety since one of the the libido-enhancing pill's side effects is drowsiness which could affect a person's ability to drive.
