SAN FRANCISCO, California -- It's music to their ears, and quiet to yours. San Francisco’s latest trend is silent discos.

Now, with headphones pumping the hot beats, dozens of dancers on the street past midnight are barely making a peep.

"With urbanization, gentrification, music has become noise, noise has become nuisance and people start complaining about outdoor music so we started looking for a better way,” says Silent Frisco Founder Robbie Kowal.

The city is not sure yet if this creative solution has decreased noise complaints. Basically, they're waiting to hear.
