Corpus Christi SWAT officers shot while serving warrant

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Police in Corpus Christi got off to a rough start Thursday morning as three SWAT officers were shot while serving a drug warrant.

Neighborhood streets were blocked and a nearby elementary school had to be put on lockdown. Cops identified 46-year-old Ray Rosas as the accused gunman, and he is now facing three counts of attempted capital murder of a peace officer.

Officers Andrew Jordan, Steven Ruebelmann, and Steven Brown all suffered non life-threatening injuries to the hand, arm, leg, and wrist.

Another man and woman inside the home were also taken into police custody.
