NASA suited up astronauts for a special spacewalk.

Saturday, astronauts Terry Virts and Barry Wilmore took the first of three spacewalks to build docking ports outside the International Space Station, kind of like parking spaces, in Space.

They successfully attached more than 300 feet of cable outside the ISS.  The docking ports are for spacecrafts that visit in the future.

The pair of space builders finished their work early, and what was planned for six-and-a-half hours, got completed in two and a half.

Way to go, overachievers, clearly you're not spaced out!
