ST LOUIS, MO - According to a federal lawsuit filed earlier this month, pet owners have submitted more than 3,000 complaints about Purina Beneful's dry kibble, saying that it's hurting dogs and in some cases, it's even killing them!

Apparently, the lawsuit was filed by a man after one of his dogs died.

The lawsuit claims that dogs who ate Beneful dry kibble dog foods suffered stomach and other internal bleeding, liver malfunction, vomiting and other symptoms.

As for Nestlé Purina Petcare Company, the maker of the dog food in question they responded with a statement saying that the suit is "baseless" and that there are "no product quality issues with Beneful."

Despite all these scary claims, none of the dog food has been recalled.
