‘Cinderella’ leaves much to be desired

Dustin Chase reviews ‘Cinderella' this week and despite all the extraordinary costumes and set decorations wasn’t impressed. Disney’s newest fairytale adaptation does give more strength and individuality to “Ella” but doesn’t find enough new territory to make this version stand apart from the 80+ other adaptations. Two time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine is entertaining but she doesn’t bring her usual inspirational talent to the table.

Little kids might get bored without the singing mice.
