LAGUNA BEACH, CA - Country singer Crystal Gayle sang about it back in the late 1970s, even though, she sported her very own set of big ol' baby blues. But back in those days, there was no real way of changing your brown eyes to blue, until now claims a Californian company.

The Stroma Medical Corporation, based out of Laguna Beach, says they can permanently give you piercing blue eyes. According to these eye experts, even brown-eyed people have blue eyes underneath the surface layer of brown pigment. They use a laser tuned to a specific frequency to remove the pigment from the surface of the iris. The corporation claims, as laser energy is absorbed by the eyes brown pigment, the dark top surface is lifted, leaving the bottom layer of blue behind in about two to three weeks. New peepers in a short period of time!

The procedure is still not available to the public, but Stroma is hoping many are eyeing this laser surgery for themselves when it does. So if your willing to put up with a little risk, just to make your brown eyes blue, you might be getting your chance in the near future. But if you ask us; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No matter what the color.
