HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Sheldon Fire Department opened a shelter in East Harris County in place for all residents around the 8200 block of Reservoir Avenue.

A crew hit a gas line behind St. Dominic’s Church around 7:30pm and natural gas spilled out. This is not considered hazardous, and they are asking for residents within one mile of the  effected area to stay indoors and turn off their air conditioning units.
