LOUISVILLE, KY - A photo of a woman crossing the finish line has gone viral, but not because she came in first place.

The woman in the picture, Asia Ford, was determined to finish a 10k race in Kentucky, but came close to missing her goal after she started having trouble breathing about five miles into the race.

"My breath was kind of like, it felt like it was taken from me," said Ford.

"The EMS guys got out and talked to her, went to check on her. And she was like 'I'm not stopping. I'm not stopping.' So she kept going." Lt. Aubrey Gregory said.

Little did she know, the officer would be right by her side.

"I said I'm not going to let her stop. We're going to do this together. I got out. She grabbed my hand. I grabbed her hand," said Lt. Gregory.
