WalletHub analysis says Republican states more reliant on federal dollars

WASHINGTON, D.C.  - A recent analysis is raising a few eyebrows. According to data published by WalletHub, Republican states rely more on federal dollars than Democratic states.

This is ironic considering the fact that members of the Republican party are usually against federally funded programs, such as Medicaid and food stamps.

They found that New Mexico is the most dependent state, while New Jersey is the least dependent.
