HOUSTON, TX - The second weekend of spring will be a busy one in Houston! Here's a look at some activities for you and your family to enjoy:

Dynamo Opening Day
Saturday night is the home opener for the Houston Dynamo. They'll host the Colorado Rapids at BBVA Compass Stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. The rapids are looking for their first goal of 2015 after tying in two scoreless matches so far this year, but the Dynamo haven't beaten Colorado in league play since 2009.

Houston Hosts NCAA South Regional
If college basketball is more your thing, watch the road to the Final Four right here in Houston. NRG Stadium will host the South Regional, featuring UCLA, Utah, Gonzaga and Duke (a team that features a hometown player). There are still some lower-level tickets available for the Friday and Sunday games, ranging in price from $80 to $150.

Houstonian's Top Shops Pop-Up Party
How do bottomless mimosas sound? They're just part of a huge pop-up shopping party hosted by Houstonian Magazine this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bell Heights. Tickets are $15 and get you those mimosas and access to nearly 50 different retailers, including those profiled in the magazine's March issue.

Lennon Art Showcase
He may be best known for being a Beatle, but John Lennon's artwork is on display in Houston this weekend. Off the Wall gallery in the Galleria is showcasing an exhibit that includes 72 pieces from the late musician's collection. You can check it out through Sunday.

Children's Festival
If you want to get outside to enjoy this weekend's beautiful weather, take the kids to the McDonald's Houston Children's Festival this Saturday and Sunday. The kids can play, create, explore and learn all right downtown. The event also features six stages of music and entertainment.

Nation's Largest Cell Lab
The nation's largest - and first bilingual - cell lab opens up to the public on Friday. The Debakey Cell Lab is The Health Museum's first permanent exhibit in five years. It features seven different experiments for you to try, including Testing Antimicrobials, Mystery Microbes and DNA Extraction.

Trash Bash
Saturday will be a beautiful day to make Houston even more beautiful. Thousands of volunteers will help clean up the city in the Rivers, Lakes, Bays 'N Bayous Trash Bash. There are 15 locations this year, ranging from the north end of Lake Conroe to Galveston Bay.
