HOUSTON, TX - A northwest Houston man is in critical condition after being gunned down in his driveway Monday night.

Harris County deputies say around 9 p.m., they received reports of shots fired at a home near Guhn Rd. and Tidwell Rd. When they got to the scene, they found a 19-year-old man lying in the driveway, shot at least twice.

Investigators figured out that the victim was selling Air Jordan tennis shoes to a buyer from Craigslist. But that buyer showed up with a gun, intending to rob the victim. A scuffle led to the victim being shot twice in the abdomen.

On top of the shooting investigation, deputies found a stolen Honda near the scene.

"According to witnesses, there was a vehicle being pushed out of the garage. We've located that vehicle in the cul de sac. It appears all the serial numbers have been smashed or removed from that vehicle," said Harris County asst. chief John Laine.

Deputies determined that Honda had been stolen by the homeowner's son, who now faces charges of theft and possession of stolen property.
