LYNNWOOD, WA - There's a whole lot of buzzing going on in Washington state. A semi truck loaded with more than 40 million bees tipped over on an interstate in Lynnwood, a suburb of Seattle, and now residents are really feeling the sting.

The truck had just merged onto the freeway when it blew a front tire, causing more than 400 honey bee hives to scatter all over the place.

The good news is the driver is okay, but news crews on the scene weren't so lucky.

Local beekeepers used smoke to try and calm the agitated bees, and drivers were told to keep their windows up and to "bee safe."
