HOUSTON - And we're back to what seems to be one of Houston's worst streets.

"POOM!! Is pretty much the closest that I could muster," Mostafa Darban described the sound his car makes when he hits the Pothole Of The Day located on Richmond Avenue near Dairy Ashford Road in Alief.

"I actually noticed it about a month ago, almost blew a tire on it. I run through here a lot and I see cars swerving a lot," added Darban.

As with many of the city's road hazards, this one has already been repaired but seems determined to come back and cause problems.

"Apparently they didn't do a well enough job to repair it permanently. This sort of stuff, if they're spending the money, they might as well spend it right and fix it for good."

Drivers try to avoid it but aren't always successful.

"For foreigners, tourists to come in and see scenes like this, I just think it's unbecoming of Houston."

Especially on a busy street like Richmond Avenue, Houstonians want one thing.

"Just to come and fix it," implored Darban.
