GALVESTON, TX — A Galveston stabbing suspect is making national headlines for what he did when he was arrested.

On Tuesday night, police say 29-year-old Jonathon Glenn stabbed a man inside a home in the 1300 block of 25th Street and then took off, leaving him for dead.

Officers tracked him down, but this is where his arrest gets messy, literally!

Police say while Glenn was in the back of the cop car he defecated, then put his own poop in his mouth and spit it back out at the officers.

Officers say he then tried to strangle himself with the seat belt,  but it didn’t work.

He was hauled off to jail for a long potty break.

His victim did survive and is in critical condition.
