HOUSTON, TX – A buzz filled the Houston Sunday as the clock ticked down to game seven between the Rockets and the Clippers.

The feeling around town and spike in fan support ignited a spark in Clutch City local ticket broker Kent Maree says he hasn’t felt since the 90’s.

“They haven’t done that much, not since 94, 95, but since the last comeback win, and a surprising win at that, my phone hasn’t stopped ringing since 12:30 that night,” said Maree.

Local sports clothing company Running Game Clothing has seen similar customer traffic leading up to the game seven. Company Founder Travis Drake says the orders have been stacking up even more than usual since Thursday’s nail-biter.

“The last week, we’ve pushed through hundreds of shirts, the response has been amazing to our designs as well as the energy from this city is just crazy, people are so excited,” said Drake.

Win or lose, these fans are along for the ride on the Clutch City express.
