SHELTON, CT - With just a week left before prom, Shelton High School's headmaster hopped on the intercom and announced to students that any female students who wore dresses featuring a low back, slits, cutouts or midriff would be banned from attending the event. Shelton is just the latest school to make dress code policy changes days ahead of prom - changes that only seem to impact female students. Oftentimes, those students spent hundreds of dollars and months of shopping to find their perfect dress.
