HOUSTON, TX -  Big things are coming to the George R. Brown Convention Center this weekend, but you wouldn't know it by looking inside there today. ComicPalooza 2015 starts Friday, but most of the dealers had not arrived.

Bespeckled and bearded Johnnie Rosales, Jr. was an exception. He was setting up Thursday afternoon, looking forward to the crowds, expected to number around 40,000. "We're all fans from comics to movies to TV shows," he said. "And we all get to celebrate that together."

Rosales has been busy doing portraits of some of the actors scheduled to appear at the show, like the cast members from the show "Gotham."

Also expected are actors Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders from "The Avengers," Chloe Bennet (fan favorite Skye from "Agents of SHIELD"), and Rosario Dawson (of "Sin City" and "Rent"). And for the "Rocky Horror" fans out there, Brad himself, Barry Bostwick, will make an appearance along with "The Fonz," actor Henry Winkler of 70's TV series "Happy Days."

Local talent at the show will include roller skating phenom Juan Carlos (who was robbed on "America's Got Talent"), along with wrestling legend Booker T, and filmmakers Joe Grisaffi and Paul Bright (who will debut his new film "Long Term Parking" Saturday night at 8).
