HOUSTON, TX - With the recent flooding and a recent case of West Nile confirmed just last week in Harris County, West Nile is on everyone`s mind.

Experts say, follow the four D`s:

  1. Dress appropriately, wear long sleeves when outside
  2. Use mosquito spay with Deet
  3. Drain any and all standing water
  4. Mosquitoes are more active during Dusk and Dawn so stay inside

But it’s not only the mosquitoes bugging you though. Mold growing in standing water can lead to respiratory problems for you and your family. So, if you want to breath easy, avoid those puddles like the plague! A little common sense can go along way folks.
