DENVER, CO - Pro-athletes are fined for all kinds of irresponsible behavior including showing up late to practice or excessive celebration after scoring.

What about breaking wind?

According to a writer for the Denver Post, Broncos players have imposed a penalty for passing gas during team meetings. Star linebacker Von Miller, formerly of Texas A&M, is the biggest offender.

Miller told reporter Nikki Jhabvala that he is no fan of the fart tax. "I keep trying to tell them it's not healthy is i just sit there and hold it in."

Miller may not like the policy, but maybe there's something to it. The broncos did have a pretty good season last year. Maybe the Texans should also start calling out their players who stink.
