SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - There are many reason why couples get divorced. But for one Australian couple, it all comes down to one thing: same sex marriage. Nick and Sarah Jensen, both Christian, have vowed to end their 10-year marriage if the Australian government chooses to legalize gay marriage.

The husband, Nick, wrote an op-ed piece saying in part that "Marriage is the union of a man and a woman before a community in the sight of God."

Simply put, the couple feels that if the definition of marriage changes, the contract (as they call it) changes, and that it would ultimately make their union null and void. So they're prepared to get a divorce.

The Jensens, who have children together, don't intend to actually separate and plan to have more kids. The Australian parliament is set to vote on the issue by the end of this year.
