HOUSTON, TX – An 18-year-old man is dead and three others are in the hospital after a drive-by shooting early Thursday morning.

A large crowd had gathered in the area of Burkett St. and Holman St. in south Houston after the clubs let out. Police say around 3 a.m., a car rolled up and someone inside opened fire. Three men and a woman were hit. One of those man – an 18-year-old – died at the scene. The others are in the hospital.

Officers say they have very little information to go on right now because all of their witnesses took off.

“This could have been your son, daughter, brother or sister out here that was shot. If you saw something, tell us what happened so we can get the people who did this brought to justice,” said Sgt. W.L. Meeler.

Officers say the shooting could be related to a disturbance that happened earlier Wednesday evening at Club Icon, but they’d like to talk to those witnesses to confirm that information.

If you know anything about the shooting, call HPD.
