HOUSTON, TX - He was on paid leave, but now a pediatric oncologist accused of possessing child porn is without a job or a license.

MD Anderson Cancer Center announced Thursday that it severed ties with Dr. Dennis Hughes. He resigned from the hospital where he treated child cancer patients for the past 11 years. The Texas Medical Board also announced Thursday that Hughes' license has been suspended.

Hughes was arrested last week after investigators say they found thousands of images of child porn on his thumb drive. He's currently out on bond.
