HOUSTON, TX - It's going to be a wet and stormy weekend, but not to worry; there are plenty of indoor events scheduled to get you out and about!

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros
Head over to Minute Maid Park to cheer on the Astros, who might need a little encouragement after a seven-game slide. They're hosting the Seattle Mariners, starting Friday night. The last time these teams faced off, the Astros got a four-game sweep.

Houston Beer Festival
Celebrate the fifth year of the Houston Beer Festival this weekend at Hermann Square Park. There will be music, food, activities and - of course - lots and lots of beer. You'll have your choice of about 200 different brews.

Farmer’s Market Bike Ride
Saturday morning, hop on a bike and take a ride through the heart of Houston while hitting up local farmer’s markets. This social ride hosted by Bayou City Outdoors welcomes all levels of riders. The 12- to 15-mile route will take about three hours, so bring plenty of water and a backpack to carry any purchases.

Houston Pet Expo
Saturday, bring your furry companion to the Houston Pet Expo. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center. The expo will feature activities, vendors, demonstrations and giveaways. Plus, you can get discounted vaccinations and nail trims for Fido or Fluffy.

Discover the Dinosaurs
This weekend is your chance to get up close and personal with dinosaurs, including T-rex and triceratops. Discover the Dinosaurs lets you explore exhibits featuring sound effects and animatronics and watch entertaining videos. The interactive exhibit opens Friday at 12 p.m. at NRG Stadium and runs through Sunday evening.
